Ontario man wins Ultimate Poker Challenge

Internet gambling players are interested to hear that  Point Edward's new and now best poker player won the top prize yesterday at the 1st Ultimate Poker Challenge, held at Point Edward Charity Casino near Sarnia.

By winning the poker tournament, Michael Brown, 38, of Belleville Ontario, won $68,563,. The tourney ran from September 20 to the 25. Nearly 100 spectators waited for Brown to play his final hand, a flush, to end the event.

Brown has only been playing for about a year, too. He entered the tournament on a whim when he saw the event advertised, and bought the very last ticket in the sold out competition.

About 750 players signed up and played for a total of $465,200 in prizes.

It is said that Brown will pay-off his debts and put money down to build a new house with his new winnings.
