Boyd's Treasure Chest has no major damage an its helping its employees

This morning, Boyd Gaming Corporation, owner of the Kenner, Louisiana Treasure Chest Casino, was relieved to report no major damage to its casino building - its employees are another story all together. In support of the people that work there, the gaming company is stepping-up to give what it can.

It seems the company is not so much worried about the building itself, but the people who worked there. Even though a more detailed inspection of the casino may prove more damage and the general areas repair is till unknown, the casino operator and gambling company has assured its employees that there wages will continue for the next 8 weeks.

William S. Boyd, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Boyd Gaming announced the companies deepest and most heart-felt condolences to all people affected by this travesty.
