Another lucky player hits Million MegaJackpot

Barely one month since its last hit, the Megabucks top jackpot of $11,909,745 was won at the Aladdin Resort & Casino early last Sunday morning.

The lucky winner, who asked to remain anonymous, had seen the Megabucks signs and was curious to play.

The jackpot, which hit around after 2AM, was hit not long after Elmer Sherwin's won $21,147,947 Megabucks win at the Cannery in September. Sherwin is the first person in the history of Megabucks to win the top jackpot twice. He won his first Megabucks prize of $4.6 million at the Mirage in 1989.

The latest Megabucks jackpot at the Aladdin Resort & Casino marks the 65th time this prize has been won in the almost twenty years that Megabucks (R) has been in operation in Nevada. The progressive jackpot, which resets at $10 million, requires the maximum three-coin bet. Over 600 Megabucks games can be found in Nevada casinos.

A recent addition to the MegaJackpots family is Video Megabucks. With a current jackpot over $11.3 million, Video Megabucks will set a world record for the largest penny jackpot of all time.
